Bev Pegg and his Good Time Jazz Gang have been bringing great jazz and loads of laughs to audiences all around the UK since the band's formation in May 1997.


The band fronted by Bev on vocal, guitar and banjo, has built up its reputation as being one of the swingin'est, hottest 1920s/30s classic jazz outfits in the land. Each of the musicians that play with the band is of the highest quality, and well known throughout the UK jazz scene.


Tony Pipkin - trumpet. A well-known name on the Midland’s Jazz scene, Tony has appeared at countless international venues throughout his career playing alongside legends such as Billy Butterfield, Yank Lawson and Humphrey Lyttleton to name but a few. His laid back style and melodic soloing is a great contribution to the band.


Zoltan Sagi – clarinet / saxophone. Zoltan was one of the original members of Bev’s band featured on their first album back in 1997. Besides gigging with Bev, Zoltan plays for Chris Barber’s Band, The Stars of British Jazz and also Sticky Wicket’s Band. He is regarded as one of the top reed players on the UK jazz scene.


Martin Veasey – trombone. Martin is a much sought after trombonist. He has played for many top bands at various festivals and venues throughout the UK. He has played with and alongside stars such as Wild Bill Davison, Billy Butterfield, and had the distinction of playing in front of President Bill Clinton when he visited the UK in recent years.


Roger Heeley - piano. A wonderful sympathetic and tasteful pianist capable of playing in a wide variety of styles. Roger has been playing alongside Bev since February 2000. He has accompanied jazz greats such as Harry Edison, Lockjaw Davis, Sonny Stitt, Bruce Turner and Billy Butterfield over past years.


Jim Sutton - double bass. Jim is an accomplished bass player who plays a wide variety of musical genres. Jim has appeared with and alongside Kenny Ball, John Sparry, The Martinique Jazz Band, folk singer John Richards, and tribute band Daring Adventures.


Ken Wright - drums. Ken has been playing alongside Bev since 1961. A tasteful and swinging drummer and a recording session man of vast experience. He has played for Bill Le Sage, Kathy Stobart, Betty Smith and a host of top jazz musicians. He was also on the first four albums of Clifford T Ward who were in the charts back in 1973.


Bev Pegg has appeared on Radio and Television many times, playing with and alongside numerous famous names as diverse as Acker Bilk, Jasper Carrott, George Melly and Robert Plant. Bev’s audiences are always guaranteed excellent music and loads of laughs.
